Tie another knot all the way around the opposite side of the first knot to create a disc-like shape. Step 4įold the cardboard in half using the slits as a guide and gently slide the cardboard out of the yarn loops. Remove the yarn strand from the notches and tie a knot away from the cardboard. Because we are using Wool-Ease ® Thick & Quick ® it took only 50. Wrap the yarn around the cardboard until you have reached your desired thickness, between 50 and 100 “wraps” gives you a nice fluffy pompom.
